This deeply restorative retreat has been designed and curated for those wishing to visit beautiful Sicily and have a magical and regenerative experience. Where you can leave behind your stresses and concerns and allow yourself to be held in this incredible island…

Our retreat is set in southern Italy so you can melt into the transformative potential ‘la dolce vita’ - the sweet life. To slow down and rest into a pace where you can soften, relax and allow your nervous system to restore.

Danena is a stunning traditional ‘la masseria’ (farmhouse) set on 80 acres amongst olive and almond groves just 15 minutes from the unspoilt UNESCO world heritage town of Noto. Close to the beach and nature reserves, it has a special kind of magic that can only be found in Sicily... We hire the entire property for the retreat, with each room both unique and charming. There is also a yoga studio which is in a beautifully restored pitch roofed barn as well as an outdoor shala overlooking an orange orchard. An infinity pool, massage rooms and plenty of spaces to eat, relax or watch the sunset creates an intimacy and spaciousness where you can rest into togetherness, peace and solitude.

As we transition our lives from the pandemic, finding ways to remember and reignite our connection to self, others and the world around us, is essential. Taking time out to cultivate this space and paying attention to the deepest truth within us is such a powerful gift. It then becomes regenerative too. To ourselves, to our families and friends, and to the world at large. This retreat is curated with all these things in mind. To rest into stillness. To inquire into where we feel stuck and challenged by life. To open into the places we have been afraid to open into. To listen to the voice of our intuition and heart. To dance with LIFE and to reclaim the space within us.

What’s included:

  • Seven nights accommodation at Danena Retreat Centre- a traditional ‘la masseria’ farmhouse set on 80 acres amongst olive and almond groves in the Val di Noto region of southern Sicily.

  • All meals included- nutritious and nourishing vegetarian food cooked with love in the traditional Italian way!

  • Daily yoga and meditation including gentle hatha, yin and restorative practices designed to energise, replenish or restore.

  • Somatic movement practices- guided to support you to release and explore and express feelings that may have been held in the body.

  • Wellbeing workshops including living in alignment, intuitive eating and tools for nervous system regulation.
